Buger King Halloween BLACK burger
« on: October 12, 2015, 04:22:29 pm »
Has anyone tried this black burger? My son wanted to try it, but they ran out of buns. Have to wait till next week when they bring more. Wonder how the bread tastes  :-[ :sad1:

We don't have a Burger King in my town.  I don't like them anyway.  I saw the ad, but I'm not interested, especially if it's artificially colored.

I was never a big fan of gimmick fast food. This is no exception.  It does not look appetizing to me at all, so I think I will pass and stick with just a regular cheeseburger on a white bun.

I think it looks gross. I know people who have tried it. It has so much dye in it as well as "A1." I just cant eat something like that. I am also trying to stay away from fast food places much these days.

I'ts kind of intriguing, but I won't be buying one.  We don't have a Burger King in our town and I doubt that I would travel 30 miles for a black bun.

I don't think it's anything special.... It's just added color. It's like green beer during St. Patty's Day; the beer still tastes the same, just a different color than normal. And like green beer, I've heard the black whopper gives you green poo when it comes out the other end (the "black" is probably several different colors, so the green shows up after it's been digested).

Isn't the black burger already a "thing" in another country? I could be wrong...
Regardless, I will not be trying it for 2 reasons.
1) I'm trying to eat healthy and lose weight, and a fast food hamburger is not on my menu...
2) It looks gross and there has got to be a TON of dye in it, which doesn't sound appealing to me at all.

i agree with what most others are saying.....does not look appetizing at all.  We're not big fast food people and this is not making me want to go eat at Burger King.  I'd like to know what their marketing people were thinking with this one.
