I enjoy baking.  I find great pleasure in playing with flavors and trying new techniques.  I've been blessed to have learned the art of decorating as well.  I wish I had more time to bake...course than I would eat more of what I shouldn't and I seem to do that to much as it is lately.  My last creation were pumpkin squares in muffin cups.  It seems to have helped my family with portion control.

I am not a baker, but I will graciously volunteer to sample the labors of any other bakers in the community and give my honest opinions!   (FYI, I don't do coconut, but am generally willing to try anything else at least once).
 ;)

I never used to be, but recently started in the last few months. I moved into a place that does not have a microwave and have been cooking more in general.

As for baking, I've made cookies from scratch, made my first cheesecake (in both a pie and cupcake format), red velvet brownies from scratch, and bark.

It is time consuming, but nothing has turned out badly and I have been bringing goodies to all the events my daughter and I have been invited to.

I use to do more baking.  Now that there are just two of us, it makes too much.  I like to bake gifts for the holidays.
