Holiday Buzz: Alcohol
« on: November 25, 2015, 04:51:07 pm »
Do your holidays include buying and drinking alcohol?

For years, I participated in a religious life style where I didn't drink alcohol at all.  Tomorrow will be the first Thanksgiving where I bought and plan to drink some Huckleberry wine with dinner.

I understand some people get drunk enough to pass out so they won't have to deal with holidays, at all.

I'm finding that a little holiday buzz could add to my fun as I interact with friends who also feel comfortable having a drink.

Do you plan to drink during the holidays?
Have a great day!

Yes! I will have all the Sparkling apple ciders please, some orange juice and milk, plus my favorite hot chocolate. But I will stay as far away from the liquor. Be safe and enjoy your Thanksgiving. Don't drink and drive!!!

I don't drink very often to begin with, but I very rarely have associated drinking with Thanksgiving. Probably only New Years Eve/Christmas Eve.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

It all depends on the occasion. I will have a drink every once and awhile.

It's ok for anyone to drink as long as they don't drive or cause problems but unfortunately that is not reality :bad:

I probably only have about 5 or 6 drinks a year.  I might have a glass of wine tomorrow, but if I do it will only be 1 glass.

They have in the past, but i celebrate now with an individual who is a recovering alcoholic so i do not drink in her presence.

I will be having a class of desert wine with dinner.
My one time of year that I have it, because one of my relatives who host the event drink it & always have it.   It's delicious.
