I love Golden Corral. My favorite is their yeast rolls! I wouldn't think of eating there for Thanksgiving because I love to eat off and on all day. But on other occasions, yes, I'm there.

yea, been there too. I like there dinner rolls ! I also like there salad bar and all those desserts  :P I'ts hard to decide what to eat. the only bad thing about it is that you overload with food then you can barely move. LOL!

There are no longer any Golden Corrals in Central CA.  That is sad, because I used to love them. I also miss Grandy's.  Are they still around in other parts of the nation?

I love Golden Corral but have never partaken in their Thanksgiving feast.  I saw the commercial and thought about it, but decided to go the more traditional route.  Maybe I'll give it a try next year.

I have been to Golden Corral for several years. It was a favorite of my mom's boyfriend and he would take us there often. It is a buffet full of variety. There is as any place positives and negatives, but depending on what your preferences are will depend on if it a good place to eat.Golden corral is located in two places around my area and both are fairly the same. Golden corral has a huge selection.

Golden Corral is a great place for unlimited food and unlimited options. Although the food is good, it isn't always as fresh as other types of the buffets. For the people who enjoy good cooked food and do not like the large variety as some people do, then it is not the best place to go. However for people who love to have an abundance of fairly fresh cooked food with a large variety of choices, it is probably the best buffet for that.

There once was a buffet like Golden Corral known as Old Country Buffet. Old Country Buffet started out with less choices in some areas, but had much fresher food choices in the beginning and then went down until they no longer could keep running the business. Another good buffet is Pondarosta. I know many people who do not like this buffet, however there is two totally different Pondarostas that I have seen in my state. The larger Pondarosta was much more like a cross of Golden Corral and Old Country Buffet.

Personally I am not a picky eater and can find something good anywhere I go. Sometimes I feel Golden Corral is not the highest in fresh food, but there variety is great, salad choices are great, the fruit, and desserts are great. Main meal wise the other two mentioned had better hot food. Yet Golden Corral reminds very popular especially in the city regions. The best aspect about the buffet for my interest is the fruit and salad options.

Yes they have good salad bar and desserts for sure. Yes buffets with multiple options like Golden Corral gives a lot of tough decisions, but since I have gone there so much I have pretty much memorized what is usually there so I just pick what I like most. However sometimes I still do over load. Good hot food varieties but there biggest selection is definitely in the desserts and salads.

We don't have Old Country Buffet here in Cali, but we do have Hometown Buffet  here which is owned by the same company.  It's very good.  Surprisingly good.    Their chicken pot pie is delicious.

We do not have a golden corral here.  I wish they did.  We had one here years ago. ;)
