I've got a whole lot to be thankful for every Thanksgiving, but THIS one was the VERY BEST one EVER!  My son and daughter-in-law surprised me with a "little gift" tonight.  My daughter-in-law passed me a small gold box with a gold ribbon around it.  I was thinking to myself, "Oh, gee, she brought us some nice chocolates!"  So, I start to open the box.  Inside I see the pretty tissue paper and unfold it.  It was then I got the shock of my life!!!  There's a paper, and on it I read:  "GRANDMA, I can't wait to meet you!  June 2016!"  I was so floored and I start asking them, "You're kidding, right?"  They're all laughing at me and my daughter-in-law says, "I don't know, look under the paper!"  So I finally catch on and look under that paper and there's a baby's onesie and her ultrasound with a tiny, beautiful, human being growing inside her!!!  YAY!!!  I cried my eyes out and my daughter-in-law and daughter filmed the whole thing, LOL!!  Yup!!  I'm gonna be a GRAMMA!!! 

Happy Thanksgiving! OMG   that is like the best news ever! That's certainly awesome news! Congratulations to you and your family! I'm sure your looking forward to the new addition to the family. May the baby have a wonderful life! Full of joy every day!

Congratulations I am so happy for you.I was born in June also just like your grandchild will be.I was born June 28, 1978.  Is this your first grandchild?

Yes, this will be my first grandchild!  I'm very excited about it since there hasn't been a baby in our family in almost 20 years!  I feel SO LUCKY!  <3
