I went black friday shopping
« on: November 27, 2015, 04:05:41 pm »
I did not have to deal with a huge crowd because the thrift store that I walked to from my apartment was not very busy.  The thrift store is called the purple cow. I only had $5 to spend but thrift store prices are cheap. :present: :present:I bought 2 presents at the purple cow which were a number one grandpa coffee mug for my dad and a rudolph book for my nephew.

That's a great way to do it. :)

I love shopping at thrift stores.
They're really good if your budget's tight, or if you're looking for something unique.

I did end up going black Friday shopping but since I waited until 9:00 it wasn't bad when I went to Walmart menards and office depot

That's pretty good.  The only "thrift store" in my town is a Goodwill store and their prices are not that much different than Walmart.  I have seen shoes in there that were so pathetic and worn out that they should have been trashed a couple of years ago.  I can't believe they would even display them and expect someone to buy them.  And then the price is like $5.  If something is trashy I would never donate it and expect someone else to wear or use it.  Smh.  I haven't been in there in quite some time though because they have had problems with bed bugs.

There are some great deals out there at Thrift Stores.
You're pretty lucky to have one in walking distance from your home.

I did my Black Friday shopping on Thursday, before the crowds started. I usually stay as far away from Black Friday shopping as possible, but RiteAid's sale started on Thursday, so I was able to snag a lot of good deals before the crowds hit.
