Sometimes I tell people something he or she just said or did was rude. When somebody argues about that with or in front of me, I feel worse. When I say I find something rude but any other person doesn't believe that, I would find it more respectful to ask, "How is that rude?"

I have not been accused of being rude in conversations that I can recall.
Have a wonderful day!

In my opinion, I wouldn't call it, being rude, depends on the situation. Your just speaking your mind and telling them the truth. Most often, people hate to hear the truth. Some people dislike you for being bold. I been in that predicament with friends and family. But in my ground's, I really don't care if they dislike what I have to say. Be nice to me and I'll be nice to you in return, it works both ways.

I've had someone tell me twice I was rude.  The first time I dismissed it as a personality difference and in turn thought it was rude of them to say I was rude to begin with.  The 2nd time I confronted the individual asking if they thought what I said was rude and they said, "No, I didn't think anything of it." So the person who thinks I'm being rude simply needs to worry bout themselves more than judging my character and personality.

I have never worried about people being rude.  For the most part they are raised that way.  I am glad it never happened in my family.  Rudeness was not tolerated.

I work for  a school and this mother want to be all smart at lick. and I just turned the tables on her. She wanted to know if we call home when a child is absent. I told her yes I do the calling. She tells me no you don't and I tell her yes I do, then she tells me well do you have proof that you call, so I tell her do you have proof that I don't. She get all mad and tells me that I am so rude and she want to talk to the principle. I then go and get the principal and she starts telling the principal everything and I tell her my part and the principal tells her for what I see you started it and she was defending her self. You bother are at fault. so yes I have argue with someone that told me I'm rude.  ;D

it becomes a pointless argument after a while, most people are so passively rude its easy to get offended when you cant agree with something imo. it really doesn't bother me if it is mistaken rudeness.

I use to be a night manager at a bowling alley and all the time people would say I was rude because I didn't let them get away with things that they were not suppose to do.

Maybe they think YOU are rude for saying they are rude.  I had a smart@ss jump on me right before Christmas telling me I was rude.  She was mad because she had done everything in the world to get to me.  Yelled at me.  Cussed me.  Threw crap at me.  And she could not get me to respond.  So by not getting upset by HER RUDE behavior she said I was rude.  People need to grow a spine and learn everyone has problems they are dealing with and things going on and quit being offended by every stupid thing that crosses their path.

No not really.  Just because someone says you are rude doesn't mean you are.  Telling someone your personal opinion of them does not mean it is the truth.
