Decent performance to say the least....thoughts?

I agree completely. I was a little afraid that Lady Gaga may go over-the-top even to the point of almost making it into a mockery. However not only did she sing it well, it seemed like a reverent performance as well.

I usually like it straight up plain vanilla, but I actually enjoyed her rendition. What I can't believe is the people who objected to the double ending. It was very in sync with the Blue Angels flyover.

I love Lady GaGa and I think she did a great job  if you think  back a few years and other sports there were a few really bad ones singing

I was very impressed!  I didn't realize she could sing so good.  I could never get past the visual appearance to listen to her voice.  I am glad she looked presentable, also.

i thought she rocked it --no strange outfit or weird dancers --she just poured her heart out and it was awesome all red white and blue and showing the troops was a adding bonus !!!!

I have personally done it in the Portland Memorial Coliseum for 10.000 people and until you stand there, you have NO CLUE what the problems are you are about to face. For one example, you can hear the organ play the prelude and once you start singing you can't hear a thing. You just need to do it the way you rehearsed and concentrate on staying on pitch with yourself as your only reference point.

However, it is EXCITING and the RUSH gives you power you never knew you had.
