So sad
« on: March 02, 2016, 01:51:30 pm »
My daugher is going to move up north with her oldest son.  I have been so sad for the last few months that I cry everyday.  I am going to miss her so much.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. >:(

I completely understand what you're going through.  My son (only child) moved to the other side of the country.  Was there over 5 years and only came home twice.  We were never in a financial position to go visit.   He then moved back to our area for about a year and has now moved halfway across the country, been there going on two years.   I miss him dearly so I understand what you're feeling.   Just remember, phone calls (thank goodness we no longer have to pay for long distance) and facetime and skype all help.   They are still our kids and they love  us no matter how far away they are.

I'm so sorry.  I don't kniw where you are and where she is moving, is it so far that you two can't plan maybe monthly visits?  If too far there are always phone calls, texts, Skype.  I know it's not the same as being close, but she might move back, you never know.  God bless.

Agreed you have a place to visit now. My daughter moved away, she told me there's skype. awe, she told me to move where she is. I am sorry for your sadness. but if her move is a permanent resident why don't you move too.

Awwww, I really don't know what to say, ejholt, except that if I was there in front of you I'd give you a big hug.

I know it is not the same but you can use skype and talk online or other like sites and use social media so you can still stay in touch.

You know how it is: They grow up and move away...claiming their independence. Do not be sad. Now you have time to do other things.

I do understand how you feel. My daughter just moved out and went to live with her sisters.

Well you shouldn't cry. Your daughter is spreading her wings and venturing out. As long as there are airplanes, buses and trains, you can always take time to visit. Be happy for her bettering her life.
