I've been trying to talk my mother (who is a referral of mine) into posting in the forums.  She loves the money she is earning on FC and I keep trying to tell her about the monthly $3.00 bonus she is missing out!  I have ramped up the 'pressure sale' over the past week considering the transfer over to a fresh month and I was able to talk her through navigating the forums.  While I had her on the telephone she even found a topic where she thought she had a worthwhile anecdote to add...  But I looked today and see that she is still being a bit shy.

Keep gently nudging her along and eventually I think she will get more active. Keep your eyes open and notify her when you see something she may like which will help her jump into a conversation.  Once you start in the forum it doesn't take long until you posts add up really quickly and the $3.00 comes rolling in which keeps the posts going. I applaud the efforts you are making with your mother, yes some people are not comfortable posting in forums.  I remember I used to be that way , and I must say that this is probably the -nicest- forum I've ever joined. ~<3~

I really look forward to reading and participating in the forums.  I always find tips and suggestions in the discussions.  If you do a few every day 30 is really not hard to do.

I decided to take the soft approach and just comment to her every now and then about the monthly $3 she was missing out.  So over a few days last week, without my prompting, she took her own initiative and finally wrote up 6 posts to the forum.  Just 24 more in the next ten days (and a few weeks of waitin') and that $3 bonus is HERS!!!

The forum posting bonus is literally the easiest free money that you can earn. There are tons of random posts in the off topic group that you can comment on. $3 a month adds up to $36 a year... that's nothing to turn your nose up at!

It is a great and easy way to earn $3 a month. I would continue to encourage her and also show her step by step how to post here in forum. I think she will feel more comfortable after getting a little tutorial from you on how easy it is to post here.

Maybe she isn't shy, but afraid that once she gets started, she won't be able to stop! Forums can get addicting, especially if you can earn money by posting. (Boy, if I could earn money by posting on Facebook, I'd be a millionaire by now, LOL!)

I remember when I actually discovered that you can get a bonus for posting on the forums. I didn't even know the forums existed.
