Another great lady has gone on.

Interesting story reported shortly after her death:
Nancy Reagan's death was followed hours later by a spectacular rainbow over a Palm Springs golf course Ronald Reagan frequented ... a remarkable coincidence to say the least, since her Secret Service code name was "Rainbow."

TMZ broke the story ... the former first lady died Sunday of congestive heart failure at her Bel-Air home.

The tributes are pouring in from celebrities and everyday fans, but Mother Nature gave Nancy the ultimate prop.

Southern California was drenched Saturday night and early Sunday morning by a storm which was supposed to last all day ... but simply evaporated shortly after her death. The rainbow hung over the Indian Canyons Golf Resort.

That's Ronnie waiting for her at the end of the Rainbow.  RIP, Nancy Reagan, and God bless.

This was the first I heard of her passing, I've been home all day too busy to listen to radio, etc.  Sad news.  The post about the rainbow was really sweet, thanks for sharing the link jkhanson.  :)

Weather you were for or against the President, we seem to always fall in love with the 1st Ladies.    She was so fond of wearing red they even name it Reagan Red.  They truly were a love story.  Now they are together again.

Thank you for sharing the story about the rainbow.  :rainbow: What a beautiful reminder to live life to its fullest.

Nancy Reagan said, "As I've said before, time is short, and life is precious."

:rainbow: The Rainbow story - what beautiful symbolism. God created the beautiful rainbow and I like to think he was shedding his glory on welcoming the first lady home I believe someone is trying to get our attention.

When Ronald Reagan was President, I thought Nancy had too much influence over the political process. I grew to like her a lot after he was President, though and thought her support for on stem cell research was very brave and noble plus admired how well she looked after him when he got Alzheimer's. I am really sorry she's gone now.
