Site Issues
« on: March 15, 2016, 08:41:23 pm »
Having trouble with the site in that I barely have access to anything. When I try to go to most pages it gives a error of "No data received" and "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" ... so i can't really do much of anything on the site the whole day so far, i've tested at various times.

I even tried some of the services out there that tell if the site is down or having problems. Some say its down and some say its up, though the ones that have it as up either can connect normally or relatively slow response time. So question is, is there a way to fix this or?

As a side note, first time i've come across this like that over past few years i've been with FusionCash, oh and even trying to get to log into the site was a chore in that of itself.

**UPDATE**
For those of you that read the first post but either skim or skip the rest of the thread, I already stated in a post below that I figured out it was ZoneAlarm that is blocking FusionCash. Every other site works fine, so its not ZoneAlarm specifically.... its just something in FusionCash website that is making ZoneAlarm block it and that is regardless if i make it a safe zone or not.

Also, if you haven't read the thread in full then don't bother replying because some people just post useless already answered questions... something doesn't need to be answered twice, just a waste time.

Everything is working fine for me. I see that you have been on FC since 2008 but are still a Newbie on forum and have only posted three times. Could that have something to do with your problem? Why don't you open up a support ticket and see what is going on?

You wouldn't happen to be using CHROME as your web browser, would you?

To "Bostonphil" I would love to do a support ticket but I can't even get to that portion of the site, so at this moment that is out of the question. Otherwise I would have tried that first but as I said I'm limited access to only a few pages.. one of them being the forum, another being the login and just one or two other pages... that's it. It won't show my balance up at top either. Also the part that you said: "I see that you have been on FC since 2008 but are still a Newbie on forum and have only posted three times. Could that have something to do with your problem?" <---- that right there doesn't make sense because it doesn't correlate with anything. If you can correlate or explain in more finer detail how you got that thought then please do.

To "BlackSheepNY" ... I have and use Chrome but Chrome is not the issue, was one of the first things i tested. I had already tried the crappy IE browser and tried Firefox as well and both didn't work.

Also when i go into the details of the error i mentioned earlier, it says "Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data."

Nevermind I figured it out, was ZoneAlarm, funny thing is it allowed the site the other day... it still allows other sites access with login and etc. So my question would be, did the site have some sort of update that day or is there malicious content on the site at the moment for the simple fact that I can only get into a few sections of the website  when I have it on?!?! So technically I could blame ZoneAlarm... but none of the other sites I go to have the same issue, so has to be something FusioCash devs did just recently.

I have not encountered any viruses on FC. Maybe you can set a "security exception" in ZoneAlarm to get it to stop blocking the site.

I find that if I switch browsers, things that don't work in one, work in another.  No rhyme or reason to this

Once in a while, I too have trouble logging in to FC.  It does not happen very often and I assume the site is down ?

Yeah i've come across the site being down a few times in the past but that only lasted a few minutes or less then a hour but at the moment its just ZoneAlarm seeing something wrong with a large section of the site, so its trying to close access to it.

To the person about the switching browsers and things don't work in one and work in another... that has to do with browser version and if that browser is updated to handle specific things. Take in point Internet Explorer is horrible with a quarter to half of Javascript code, its better to use Chrome in general... because you'll crash less and have more access to sites in general and etc.

Speaking of Internet Explorer... its just a horrible browser all around that is intimately connected to the OS, that's part of why if you have a old Windows OS, its better to use Chrome that'll work on any Windows OS version so to say, where the IE is limited to what Windows OS you have, plus IE slows down your computer too, bit of a mess lol. Also think of this... they slowly phasing out IE with their new browser Edge... if that tells you anything.

Lastly about "not encountered any viruses on FC".... well on the site that is debatable, however some of their outside links that they pay you for .. some of them do lead to trojan/virus areas. So its not far off to think that at some point their own server might get some of the same.

I can't remember which day it was, but I also had this trouble for an entire day.  I tweeted Fusion that I was having an issue and would appreciate knowing if it was just me or the site in general.  Then I found a site which showed whether an entire site was down or not.  The first time I checked Fusion was down.  About 12-15 hours later it wasn't.

There are times when Fusion Cash if down for maintenance.  The down time is usually quite short; a few hours or so.

There are also times where FC is up but maybe not up to it's full potential.  That's most likely why some members can navigate freely while other members can't.  Again, that time period is typically short.

Finally, there are those times where your own internet connection may not be up to normal speed.  That happened to me earlier this week.  My internet was down for half the day; probably for maintenance.

When I did a app download rewarding me $5.00 to complete I did not see my balance go up by the $5.00
Does certain surveys like downloading apps to cell phone take longer? :moneymouth: I just signed up for the mobile xpression research, need to know if if it takes longer to show up in account or is their a problem with site to site via fushioncash to xpression research?? Please let me know what is going on, Thanks

Have you tried using a different browser.  It seems that oftentimes when people are having issues on the site, it tends to be the browser you're using.  I think if you try using another browser, this may help.
