I am a guy and love flowers. I have only gotten flowers once  in my life.  I had a jealous girlfriend send them to my place of employment.  I thought that it was the sweetest thing that anyone had ever done until I learned the true purpose of her seeming altruism.  She thought that I was dating someone at work so she sent them as a means of marking her territory-hoping that the person I was supposedly dating would get crazy.  I still loved the flowers but the perceived meaning wilted faster then the flowers. My wife has sent me a few plants for promotions and new jobs.  I love getting flowers for my wife-she is so appreciative. I usually go to Costco because they are durable and inexpensive.

I really enjoy flowers. I just got some yellow tulips yesterday. In addition to those I have 2 orchids and an azalea bush. Everything's getting new leaves right now and I hope the flowers come back. They're a nice addition to my room.
