Long surveys
« on: April 02, 2016, 07:40:41 am »
I am glad we are getting more surveys but has anyone noticed how much longer they are for not so much money?

Sure have!  I leave those alone if I really feel they're not worth my time.

I sure have noticed some that are very long and not paying adequately for such a length.  Since I have had a number of surveys that have "reached the quota" or "disqualified" me when most of the survey is completed over the past month or so, I am certainly not going to try a survey 45 minutes long for 70 cents!!!
You know, if we all passed such surveys up, they would have to pay more for these kind of surveys.

I have noticed this, not only on FC but everywhere else too.Tonight I did a survey on another site with an estimated time of 22 minutes that actually took 64 minutes.I get surveys like this several times a week.

I agree with you!  Been saying that myself!

I have a short attention span so I go for the 10-15 minutes surveys.  On occasion I'll do a 20 minute one, but I have a hard time staying focused and some of the questions seem so repetitious. I'm not crabbing....just saying...

Yup, and it is not just on Fusion Cash. All my sites have been more difficult to earn on. In the case of surveys, a lot have gotten longer and are paying very low. Some of the surveys I will not attempt because of the time involved.

Once I see those long, grid questions that ask you to fill in for many brands or attributes, I exit out of the survey. Way too frustrating for low pay, and possibility of DQ or errors at the end which lead to no credit.

I have several of those right now. They are just not worth the time for the small payout. Yesterday I started doing one that was suppose to be 5 minutes for 40 cents, but I guess I wasn't a good fit for that one so I kept getting rerouted and 8 minutes later they found one for me that was going to last 40 minutes for the same compensation. I closed the page, I had already spent more time than I was suppose to spend on the survey I had intended to complete.

I had another survey today that was much longer than it was supposed to be.It was a Your Surveys survey on the FC Surveys page that had an estimated time of 9 minutes for 70¢.I got the 70¢,but it took me 45 minutes to complete the survey.I know a lot of surveys take longer than the stated time, but there is no excuse for it to take 5X longer.

I have noticed it, and have been saying the same thing as well,
"Make the most of every opportunity"
