Do you drink alcohol ?

I'm a very social drinker. Only on special occasions, birthdays, holidays, etc.  I think probably 10 drinks a year.

I took ONE swig of alcohol in my life, and it was utterly disgusting. Since then, I have sworn off alcohol entirely. Yuck!

The period of my life between 20 and 30 I drank enough to float a battleship, but for the next 47 years not a drop. Drinking contributed to my divorce from my first wife and damaged her life as well as mine and our children, so fortunately I figured that out and quit for good.

I'm actually a huge fan of beer, the craft brewing business is really picking up where I live, so it's nice to go out and try new brews, support local businesses and hang out with friends. I don't like clubs or feeling like you need to drink in order to be around or in certain situations though.

Nothing wrong with drinking in moderation, its when it is a problem that gets people into trouble.  To each their own as they say!

Occasionally I drink. I like a good shot of whiskey once in a while, but also will wash down a beer or two on a hot summer day. I agree with you though, it doesn't make sense to bust your butt working out when you are just going to kill your liver with chronic drinking. Your insides are just as important as the outside of your body!
