I think the min. wage should be at least $9 an hour but not crazy amounts like $15 in other places because that will just cause people to lose jobs and/or raise prices :bad: 8)

It's just been raised to $11.00 here in Massachusetts, but it's still not enough to live on. It's expensive to live in this state. Where's that $15 per hour we're all hearing about?

Minimum wage has always been a politically charged issue, especially to the top 1% richest of the population.  Raising the minimum wage would get these people off their cushy cans, because then the common people wouldn't have to slave to support them!

I live in Las Vegas and our minimum wage is 8.25 and people can barely make ends meet on that.

The minimum wage in EVERY state is ZERO, because people are too stupid to realize that when it gets impossible to hire help without breaking the bank, employers are going to do without them (or at least hire a lot less and leave some without a job).

Increase minimum wage and it will go even higher. Money can not be legislated into existence, it has to be an exchange of values.

Depending on where you live and cost of living, I don't think the minimum wage should be more than $10 ph, but no less than $8 anywhere :highfive: 8)

Here in Michigan, minimum wage is 8.90. Most of the fast food places offer 9.50 to start. I guess this is a good thing, but I cannot imagine how anyone (especially single parents) can survive on those paychecks..

I survive on Social Security which is the equivalent of $6.40 an hour, only because I get out and hustle to make side money.
