Another cancer death
« on: April 11, 2016, 10:02:05 am »
I don't know how many young people are on FC or if they know who Tom Jones is, but I just read his wife of 59 years, Linda, passed away Sunday from an undisclosed cancer.  I hate this disease!

I remember Tom Jones, the singer.  I didn't hear that his wife died.  Cancer.  I can't even say the word without getting angry.

I hope and pray they find a cure for this dreadful disease.

I enjoyed Tom Jones.  I didn't hear that his wife died from cancer.

Cancer seems to be every where and is or has affected everyone.

My mom and sister-in-law are survivors.
My mother-in-law is not.

Aggie, I don't have word to express my concern for you.  I pray it's not breast cancer.  As you know, I'm dealing with that now.  Please let me know how you make out.

Yes it is a horrible disease and sometimes  wonder if they don't have or couldn't have a cure but lets just say there are those who benefit from treatments and meds people get - not only for cancer but lots of medical issues.  Lets join together and pray for a cure because I have lost a lot of family members to this horrible disease.

It is a terrible disease.  Several people in my family and some friends had cancer, all we can do is pray.  Cancer happens at any age but it really gets to me when a young child gets it.

Cancer must DIE! I feel there are many solutions to this disease but our government is withholding a lot from the American people. Maybe as a population reducer! Who knows! I pray that there is a cure one day. I feel we are one step closer but may not live to see the miracle of a cure for this ugly disease! To all you survivors... I salute you and know that you are truly blessed to get a second chance! :)

there are cures for cancer.
people have to do their own research.
there are warnings against mammography and other test screenings.
Graviola is a place to start.

Agreed, I really dislike cancer. It is a nasty word in our household. My mother passed away in 2011 from Breast Cancer.
