when is the last time you went to the movies

i would rather do video on command at home it is not exspensive and you don't have to pay for the snacks and you can cuddle on the couch with the people you love my kids go to the movies at least once a month but to me it is better to stay at home

The last movie my husband and I saw in the movie theater was "Jurassic World", June 2015.  We enjoyed the movie. We went during the matinee hour so it was not as expensive due to discounts at that time.

I think it was in 2009 or 2010, but I can't be sure of the movie. Rarely does anything hit theatres that sounds appealing, and besides that, yes, everything is so overpriced now! We have an old theatre downtown that sells tickets for around $1, but they only show two or three movies at a time. I love it, though.

It's been a while.  I agree with you, I would rather watch a movie at home.  It's gotten way to expensive to go the movies.  Every once in a while I get talked into going with a friend but it's never my idea.

Two nights ago I had a date night with my wife. We went and saw Miles Ahead which was the story of Miles Davis. I am not that into Jazz and I was hoping that the movie would help me develop an ear for Jazz. No luck but the movie was pretty good-except for the end. While the credits were rolling the music changed to rap. I do enjoy rap but it had no place in this movie-not even during the end of the movie credits. I felt that the Movie producer/director sold out. We left at that point. My wife had to use the rest room and, as I was waiting, found that dozens of people felt the same way as I did-very disappointed and detracted from a fairly good movie. We did manage to see it at an old Landmark movie that served cocktails-which was really cool. Afterwards we went to a jazz bar and had appetizers. very good date night.

December 2015, to see "Star Wars the Force Awakens".  It was just a rehash of the first film released in the '70's.  Quite disappointed.

On Sunday, we took my GF's daughter to The Jungle Book in 3D for her birthday. However, we don't go to the movies all that often. Usually we just find a movie on Netflix instead. A few weeks ago, my GF's family watched ET on Netflix; this was the first time most of her kids had ever seen this classic.
