Ted Cruz just dropped out of race, giving Trump the nomination.  What are your thoughts?

Trump won't be getting the nomination because Ted Cruz "dropped out."  Cruz was going nowhere and was "mathematically" eliminated from the nomination, meaning he couldn't catch up even if he wanted to.  There was just no way Cruz could have won the 1,237 delegates needed for the nomination.  The People have spoken.

Not really surprised.  Had a feeling that Trump would get it in the long run.  Pretty much feel like we're screwed doesn't matter who wins at this point.

Well, I think it will be interesting from here on out. Time to go watch some baseball. We'll see who prevails come November. Just remember to vote and may the people's voice prevails.

I may not be able to make myself vote this year.  Perhaps a write in, just to make a point.

VP choices are going to be very important.  Look at how Palin totally tanked McCain's run.  Hillary needs to choose wisely.  I do wish circumstances had been different and Biden had run.

Ironically, this presidential race is Trump's best reality show ever. The man is getting so much free publicity that he must be laughing at all of us.

None of that would be good news to me. Ordinary American adults are jerks, and political situations with them are no exception. I think other American adults ignore me and make me feel as if I were the actual villain because they don't know how to wise up, and I do. You have to exercise all of your muscles regularly before it's too late for you, and that includes cerebral muscles.

It didn't shock me when Kasich dropped out because he was so far behind. But I was floored when Cruz bailed. I expected him to go much longer than this if for no reason other than spite.

I think it is kind of funny.  Politics need some humor & now we got it.    He can make all the promises & statements he wants, but if it is too crazy, none of his ideas or wants are going to make it through Congress... like Obama stalemate we currently have.    The President is not a King, he is part of a 3 part government: President, Congress, and the Supreme Court.  He is just the singular figure head, or will be.

It's a sad state in America, that Trump & Hillary are the best we can do.  Embarrassing really.

I think what is scary/fascinating is that I don't know anyone in real life that will admit to supporting Trump. So who are these people?? I certainly hope that we as a nation have more sense than to elect him into office.

Well i will be voting for Trump, i may not agree with everything he has put out there, but having seen what hillary has done in the past and her lying ways i can not vote for her bernie wants to turn us into a socialist country  and taxing us to death, like we don't already pay enough taxes. These kids are all hung up on bernie with his free give aways, they don't realize nothing on this earth s really free, but that you will have to pay for it one way or another.
