PineCone Panel?
« on: May 06, 2016, 06:47:09 am »
Has anyone signed up with the PineCone Panel offer? I'm thinking of doing so, just wanted to get some first-hand experience stories to see if it's worth the time to sign up and complete a survey for the $2.50 bonus here (and possibly $3 a survey with PineCone)

Any thoughts?

I love PineCone Research, but it is VERY hard to get into, I was a member about 5 years ago, I left, and it took me 2 years to get back in, Im in, and Im staying!

I do think its very worth it :)

I would agree with catchow's remarks. They are quite selective in who they add, but if you can get in do it.  You will qualify for every survey that they send to you, there is no spending 5-10-20 minutes only to get disqualified and wasted time.  They do send out several unpaid surveys to get some general purchase history and buying tendencies, but you know up front that they are unpaid and they are only a few minutes long.

Most of their regular surveys have a similar feel.  Just about all of them deal with new products not yet on the market - they want your impressions of the product idea and its packaging designs.  Sometimes they will send you a sample product to test out in your home and then do a followup survey for an extra payment.

It's a top notch survey panel!

I've been on Pinecones' panel for about 5 years.
I've taken surveys and tested products for them, and never had a problem.

It's a very good panel.

Thank you all, I'll give it a try! It DOES sound to be worth my time and effort.

Hopefully I get into the club, will update when I know something solid!

::EDIT::

Well, they accepted me! I received the email with my login info and filled out the questionnaire, but now that I've finished the questions I can't log back in. Is this common?

I love Pinecone.  Every survey you get from them, you WILL qualify for and complete.  $3.00 per survey.  However, you won't get TONS per month.  On average, I get about 4 every month, and have also received many products through them to try.  They've never disappointed me.

thoughtparticles, I have been a member with Pinecone Research for almost 3 years now! I highly recommend singing up with them! They pay $3.00 per survey.  I can't even tell you how many products I have been paid to test for free! I have also been able to redeem my earnings for as little as $3.00 into my Paypal account within 2 days.  :)

How refreshing to see such glowing praise for a survey company.  Pinecone has never been on my radar, but after reading this thread, I believe I will have to look into it. Positive testimonials are very convincing.

Pinecone is great. They pay $3 per survey and only send you surveys you qualify for. They have many product test opportunities as well. The only bad thing is it's hard to get in. They only open registration occasionally and let in people with specific demographics they are looking for.

Thanks again for the feedback! As I said, I BELIEVE I'm in, at least they said so. Can't wait to see what happens next, should be fun!

I've been with PineCone Panel for a few years now. They are a great panel. I signed up with them here on FC a few years ago. I highly recommend them.

Well, I've not been credited my $2.50 nor have I heard anything more from PineCone since I filled out an initial survey about myself and the login info given to me in an email from them doesn't work...
