Windows 10 installed itself on my PC!  It took me by surprise, but I'm glad it did.  Actually, I lost track of the time and should have upgraded anyway.  For me, it hasn't been a drastic change (like some previous upgrades).  Thank goodness!  As a result, I've taken the opportunity to do some needed house cleaning.

I have an aunt that called several weeks ago because she couldn't do anything with her laptop. I went to help and I could see the problem right away... she had gotten a prompt for an "update" and without realizing what it really was, she clicked "ok". The windows 10 had no print drivers for her printer (she was desperately trying to print out a document) and it couldn't connect to the Internet to find them.... because it was also missing a key network protocol!  10 is junk. I was able to roll hers back to 8 and everything worked again.

The only thing I don't like about 10 is Cortona taking up so much memory and it won't allow you to disable it.

I was wondering about Cortana and if you could remove it.  Guess the belief is there is a definite need to make it available to adjust to the upgrade.  It bugs me, too.
