I'm getting used to 10.  It's not bad but hard to get used to.  I'm using Windows 7 at work.

The only problem I have had with windows 10 is that it seems to slow down my computer and it sometimes seems to not let me do things on fusioncash that I normally can do.

You will have to pay a bundle if you don't at least download the free version. I think the cut off date is July 29th.

I don't like a "paid" version forced on me.

My computer doesn't automatically restart and download it, but it keeps asking me if I want it...often interfering with other things I am doing.  I will keep my Windows 7 as long as possible.

My computer automatically restarted and upgraded to Windows 10 again, but I didn't approve of that. I think everybody hates that version of Windows. That makes me want to give up my laptop computer and switch to an Apple Technology laptop (probably iMac). If I'm going to get an Apple laptop, I have to sell my Windows laptop to someone who actually can deal with any Windows computer no matter what. But what'll I do if nobody wants my Windows laptop? I won't be able to afford an Apple laptop if I can't sell my Windows laptop, and it's too late for a refund.

You don't have to "approve" it.  If you have your computer set to automatically install updates that will happen.  Mine is about to drive me crazy wanting to do that.  But my new laptop has Windows 10 and I don't see what the big deal is.  It works fine and has not been hard to learn.  I am sure you can sell it.  Mac computers are not compatible with most software you purchase and it totally different than Windows based computers.

There's no need to sell your computer.

You can roll back to Windows 7 or 8.1 if you want to.  Instructions here:

http://www.pcworld.com/article/3074020/windows/how-to-go-back-to-windows-7-or-8-after-an-unwanted-windows-10-upgrade.html

You can PREVENT Windows 10 from downloading again.  Instructions here:

http://www.howtogeek.com/228551/how-to-stop-windows-7-or-8-from-downloading-windows-10-automatically/

All in all, I happen to like Windows 10.  I've had it since the upgrade first came out.

I downgrad immediately.

I upgraded to Windows 10 last year and I haven't had any problems. But I guess it won't be for everyone. I also don't think you'll have to sell your laptop, there are a lot of sites that offer previous versions.

I think on a new computer it would not be an issue but on older computers some of the hardware is not compatible with Windows 10 (like in my case my wireless network card).  As I was having all this trouble in the first week thankfully I was able to roll it back of course it make a huge mess out of my e-mails, I basically had to start from scratch there.  I have windows 10 on another Windows 7 laptop (given to me by a family member to keep/have as a spare) and it was too late to roll it back.  I really don't know why I messed with it as my computer worked great with Windows 7 (does everything I need).  So does my vista desktop actually!

The same thing happened to me.  I'm not anti 10 yet.  Giving it a chance.  So far it seems to have really slowed things down. But I'm not techie enough to downgrade ... I only now how to upgrade... and this time I too didn't even authorize it.

So far I have caught my "upgrade" attempts - it is starting to really aggravate me.  First if I wanted it I would have responded to the first 100 popups about it.  Then it downright started downloading without my direct permission but somehow I stopped it.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
