Yes I had the same last week.. a left my computer and when I cam back it was installing Windows 10... I drastically shut my computer off with the power button... when it restarted it had no choice than going back the previously installed windows.

you can that if you are not happy with windows 10 you can simply reverse back to win 7 or 8 (whatever you had installed before)??? There's an options somewhere that allows you to go back!!

Don't have that much issues with windows 10. Except for its intrusiveness which is additional proof why
Microsoft is forcing everyone to upgrade against their will.

Yeah, they keep trying to set me up with windows 10 too, but I keep putting it off. I really rather keep things the way I already have them.

I have a new computer with windows 10. I have this love/hate relationship with win 10.
When it does an upgrade, it makes some other component go crazy!

I tried Windows 10 and hated it .. so I went back to my Windows 7

Here is a link to Microsoft that tells you how to go back to 7 or 8

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/going-back-to-windows-7-or-windows-81

If you had a different version of windows .. google and you will find some help there

I did the upgrade when it came out and I've personally had so many problems with Windows 10 it literally killed my computer.  I had to take it to get a brand new hard drive.  I don't think it's right to force Windows 10 on people.  It should be our choice whether we want it or not.  I have Windows 7 on my laptop and I turned off the automatic updates so i won't have to switch on that one.  You should be able to get your old system back if you look under systems restore.  There should be a spot you can click on to go back to your old system.   Truth be told, a few minutes after working with Windows 10 I tried to get back Windows 7.  It literally killed half the programs I use.  And a week after it was installed I lost both the start button (where they actually put everything) and Cortana.  I really haven't liked any windows system since XP.  Windows 7 is okay and definitely my next choice.  This Windows 10 is only slightly better than Vista.

I hate windows 10. Some of the programs that worked in windows 7 does not work in windows 10. So I reformatted my computer and installed windows 7.  I do not like the idea Microsoft is forcing windows 7 users to upgrade to windows 10 which is stupid.

Did you ever try to install the programs in "compatibility" mode?  This would make those programs work the way they did in Windows 7 or 8.  I have some VERY OLD programs installed on my Windows 10 and have no problems at all using them.
