I know what you mean. One time I made $15 in an hour and thought... If I could do this full-time and make that much, I'd just quit my $17/hr job. I would come out ahead by not having to commute to work, being able to take a break when I want, and work my own hours.

Since companies like to collect our information for free, then I think it's a fair pay to have a full-time panelist and product reviewer. I use about 20 survey sites, but only 6 main ones. If you use 20 every day, you'll be waiting months to ever get a check.

what are the 6 main sites that you use that would be worth it ? This site is the first site I seen even worth doing

Definitely not time wasted! It's easy to get a string of non-qualifiers and forget the whole idea of surveys, but once you hit a good one, you get the wind in your sails again.

I typically focus on trying for surveys that are less than 20 minutes long (typically 10) unless the payout is VERY tempting.
That is so true.  Fortunately for me I stick to the panels that I typically do well with.  My odds of success increase.

So I'll get a few DQ pennies, then 20 cents here, 50 cents there, 75 cents; then the dollars begin to roll in.

I like and agree with what you say about going with the 20 minute or less invitations.  I'm finding that most of the routers here are accurate as to how much time is actually spent, so 20 minutes usually means that, not 45 minutes.

Now if you do get re-routed, it takes more time, so I allow for that.

8)Some people tell me that doing surveys is a -waste- of time because they don't know how to keep a constant -flow- of earnings going.  True it's a bit devastating to go 20-30minutes into a survey and get dq'd but if that happens just take a break and do something else..refresh your mind with simpler tasks like videos or app offers.  Moderation is definitely helpful when it comes to these sites.  I rarely let my earnings completely cease..even if i have to multitask to make it happen.

I agree.  Everyone has different likes and dislikes.  Some just don't want to waste their time doing certain tasks while others enjoy spending the time and earning the cash.

Whatever works for the individual is what works.

I also agree with what you said about taking breaks.  The truth is, I don't burn myself out on any one earning option especially surveys. It really doesn't matter what you do in life, you need to take breaks anyway.  Survey taking is no different.  I do what I feel comfortable with so that I can continue to enjoy my time.

I am not to happy with some of them. I had 2 that said I sped through the survey and they didn't pay me. I believe in giving my honest opinion on them. I don't speed through them.
