Is anyone planting a garden this spring and if so what are you planting? I always try tomatoes with little luck.

  We do a garden every year in all the  flower beds.  We have cucumbers, squash (3 kinds), tomatoes, beans, (3 kinds), sunflowers, apples, hot peppers, green peppers.  We have always had really good luck.  :rose: :rose:

Broccoli, red cabbage, snow peas, egg plant, lettuce, parsley, celery, tomatoes, green pepper. Chives, stevia, and oregano seeds hopefully sprouting, plus zucchini.

Fun fun, even with all the rain.

I want to, but I don't know if there'll be room in the backyard for what I want (sunflowers!!!). We used to grow cherry tomatoes when I was a kid and they were delicious. Maybe something like that this year.... Hmmm...

We used to plant everything from corn to zuchini with 5 different kinds of tomatoes and peppers. We had to give up growing onions, carrots and potatoes in the ground because of a grub problem but do them in containers now. In fact, we are now only doing cukes, a couple different tomatoes and peppers because it's getting  hard to get around. Grape tomatoes grow "wild" so that saves some cost.

I had to let my herb garden go because I can't get out there to take care of it. I still have sage and oregano growing because they are perennials, but the other perennial herbs never grew. Oh, well.  I can always grow them inside.
