Do you prefer to be super busy at work along with stress or not so busy and less stress?

I like to be busy, so the time goes faster.  I try to avoid stress as much as I can.

As strange as this sounds, I prefer to be super busy (albeit with minimal stress, LOL) because it does indeed make the day go by a lot faster.

If I were working, I'd say not so busy and less stressed, because as it is I'm a high-strung person and already move a mile a minute and get stressed with the workload in the home. Less stress = happiness!

I think I prefer being busy but with no stress.  Otherwise, I get bored and start snacking on stuff.

When i was working in retail, i loved it when it was super busy because the days just flew, but i could always make work for me as i was in mangment and there was always a lot to do. But love interacting with customers.

I would rather be busyand deal with the stress than slow and have the day drag. :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

Great question - I have been working at a job for 10 years that has a lot of stress and we are very busy. I always say the days go fast but I would like for it to slow down once in awhile just so a can catch up. I always feel like I am behind. The only positive is that I have never been board.

I thrive in chaos.  The busier the better. Although it does make time go faster I often work more hours to get the job done. This would be great if I were not salaried. At night I am involved in contract work and get paid by the file completed. Being busy working on file would not be good. Being busy as a contractor is good because it provides a good steady income outside of the salaried environment of my day time job. Being too busy keeps me from making a few extra bucks from fusion cash-all of which goes into an investment account for myself.  Being busy also keeps me from having to do less than optimal tasks like picking up dog poop in the back yard. Slow time can be murderous-especially if you are working two jobs and are sleep deprived.
