Maybe it's time for a new husband?

I don't think it's a bad thing you've forgotten.  As the old saying goes, "Time heals all wounds."  I can't remember the exact date of some loved ones having passed.... and I had this idea that I was suppose to personally memorialize those days.  When I began forgetting something didn't feel right.  I've adjusted. Grown up and accepted the loss now and other than the day my father passed (and that's only if I'm not working that day) I've forgotten the dates but the memories live on.

Stop feeling bad, sorry, you wont be able to go on and you might get ill. You will always remember. They tell me that is life. Sorry feeling that way really sucks...broken heart.

I did the same but for our anniversary in April.  I have had a really difficult time getting over my husband's death - he died in Jan. 2013.  I have had so much sorrow that I am not going to beat myself up over forgetting the anniversary thing and you shouldn't either.  Losing a spouse is a hard thing to get through.

Don't let forgetfulness get you down.  I does not change the love you have towards your husband.

It's probably a good sign that you forgot. It does not diminish what you had together, but means you are healing and ready to replace any negative emotions with positive thoughts and memories.  Instead of feeling bad about forgetting, take all that energy and focus on all the good times you CAN remember.

That doesn't make you a "bad" person.  Give yourself a break, we all forget for whatever reason may have been going on at the time.

That could be a good sign. It could be that you are not so consumed by grief anymore. It is OK to move one, it doesnt mean you loved the person any less. Dont feel bad about this.

Hey it's okay, you are not a bad widow. You just forgot once and I am sure you will never forget again.

Don't feel bad.  There was a time that you will forget in life.  If I were you just find one day and make it up.  I think he will understand.

You're not a bad widow for not remembering your spouse passing, doesn't matter what, that person will always be in your heart.  The memories are more important than the day.
