Do you wear a bathing suit to the beach/pool or just shorts/tees? I've seen so many older people in the shorts/tees. Maybe because they are more comfortable?

I used to always wear a bikini .. but since I have gotten older I may consider a one piece suit this year

I'd say that I always wear a bathing suit, but that is a lie ;) Just this past weekend, I along with my GF and her little daughter went to a waterski show at a pond with a beach. On our way there, I asked if we had "everything" and my GF replied yes, that everything was in the swim tote. Unfortunately when I said "everything", she took that to mean sunglasses, sun block, and snacks, but didn't include bathing suits nor towels in that assessment. Thus when we got there, I was the only one without a suit (her daughter was already wearing hers, and my GF's had been left in the bag from a time before). Therefore I had to empty my pockets and go into the water with my shorts.

Well, they cover more, for certain.  I have given up regular suits in favor of tank top style with boy cut shorts. They are just one of my many adjustments to old age....well, older age anyway.

Every once in a while I will wear a bathing suit, but I definitely prefer to just wear gym shorts.

I wear bathing suits. I'm on the lookout now for an inexpensive top since the two that I have are pretty old. I can't believe it's practically July and I haven't gone swimming yet!! Ahhhh!

No matter how in-shape I am, I'm always comfortable-ish in a one piece.

I wear a one piece and shorts on over it.  It's more of an I don't like the way my body looks thing than comfort.  I might not be so bad if I could lose some weight.

Hi.  When I do go to the beach which is once in a while,   I usually don't even wear shorts and or a bathing suit, but just whatever clothes I have on such as pants or whatever.  And, I say this only because the last time that my husband Mario and I went to the beach was when we both had gone to Hawthrone and the only reason he went to the beach was to pacify one of our friends who was living with us at the time!

I am older and I also wear mostly shorts and tees. The real reason is to hide body features I am not too proud of like love handles and the like. I can be coaxed into wearing a suit if I am going to the ocean for the day, but that is not very frequent.
