What is your least favourite word?

I have a number of them, but the one not listed as yet is when people say "Whatever!" when points are made that they can't respond to.

My least favorite word of late is coddle.  I'm not referring to the definition involving cooking.  I don't like the reference of pampering. 

Everyone needs a little assistance from time to time but when it's all the time and that person apparently needs to be coddled, I just roll my eyes, shake my head and walk the other way.

When a person is of age, at some point in adulthood, the cord needs to be cut and they have to figure things out on their own. 

A little help along the way? - sure no problem; help all the time because they can not get it on their own? - No
