I still think about it from time to time. I remember waking up for school (I was 14 at the time) and just glancing at the TV and seeing the WTC smoking. I didn't at the time know what was going on until on the way to school.

I think about it every year because it's my birthday.

My son was seven months old at the time. I couldn't believe what was going on in this country. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

cant help but think about it. my husband is a sgt in pa army national guard.
it was very very hard that day cause i had no idea if my husband was gonna get put on active duty.
he did wind up on active duty in 2003. thank god he was only sent to fort dix nj
he was able to come home on weekends when they had the weekend off. the only good thing that came about because of that is i got preg with our 2nd child during that time.

Its a day that will truly lvie in infamy, as someone who lives 20 minutes away from manhattan it still leaves me speechless
