Who loves fireworks :)

In the spirit of the upcoming celebration of our nations birthday I want to know who in this forum loves fireworks, what kind do you like and are you planning to see them go off in your city or town? We must remember that fireworks can be dangerous if we allow kids to help so please lets celebrate our nations birthday safe this year.

They are great! So pretty. I love when they first start and there isnt any smoke, so you can see them clearly and they light up brilliantly.

We can usually see them off our back deck. I hope we can this year.

I Love watching fireworks.  We generally get to see two or three displays each year at 4th Celebrations - before the day, on the day and after the day.  They are so expensive I am always surprised by how elaborate they are.  Love the booms if you are close to the launch site!

I could take 'em or leave 'em. I used to plug my ears when I was little because I couldn't stand the loud sound they made. I've seen a few fireworks, but that's usually because my family members want to go. Other than that, meh.

I could live without fireworks.  I love this country and I feel very blessed; however I don't like what the  fireworks do to animals.  I guess I'm telling you that I love animals MORE than fireworks.

I like fireworks.We had a nice show in may,here in PA.It was very nice.

I love them but we have a dog that is terrible with them.  We have tried everything to help calm him down like the ., medicine from the vet and benadryl.  Usually have to hide in the basement with him and it makes for long day.

Love fireworks. Hate the loud booms. My ears are too sensitive to noise. 

My favorite time watching them was from the 34th floor of a building downtown facing the Gateway Arch in St. Louis where they shoot them off every year. All the beauty with very little noise. It was fabulous. 

I love watching them from afar. If I'm close, I have to have ear plugs. Silly, huh?

I really cant get that into them. I havent went to see a fireworks display in 10 years

So and So... Good if you lit one up and see it in the sky, but annoying at night when other people do in the park area near your place

I like them quite a bit when they are quality displays.  Sometimes they are really beautiful on a clear, cool evening. What I mostly dislike are the crowds when you go to see them at large events.  For me, sometimes it is better to drive to a small city that is having a display to avoid the lines of cars, trying to find an optimal place to view them, and having to endure an occasional rude, noisey person or two.  For the most part I don't watch them anymore except from my house or street because several people in my neighborhood have put on a small but nice show in the last few years.

I enjoy watching the fireworks, we sometimes go to the lake front in the downtown area of our city to watch them. They have all kinds of entertainment and food vendors, just bring you chairs  or blankets find a spot and sit back and enjoy. The  are predicting rain in our area for the 4th, so we will be staying home this year and just putting some stuff on the grill. But I am sure we will still hear the noise from the fireworks!
