87 cents Lottery Payout

So many of us chip in and do the Power Ball lottery since it has grown so large lately and when we win anything small like $20 we just roll it over until the next drawing, well most of us let it roll.  There always has to be ONE person that does something that absurdly stands out from others.  When we roll our small winnings over and add more to the next drawing usually about $2 we get a copy of all the tickets to cover the collector of the money, well when the girl came around this guy demanded his winnings which was 87 cents   The girl was shocked as all of us when we heard of this.  Keep in mind he borrowed the money to get in it to begin with and that he is a full time employee with benefits but is so financially irresponsible with how he spends his money(talk about it some other time}.  She thought he was kidding but he wasn't and she gave it to him and said that he can't get in her pools anymore.  It would have been great if we had won some significant amount which is still possible and see the look on his face.  One other fact about a year before I started working at this company a group of people in the office did win $2 MILLION in the lottery

It a funny story to hear.  But for my opinion, what ever amount is a winning   But it shock to have a winning that much?

I'm never lucky so I stopped buying the dollar lotto.

I remember that story. the shop won the lottery and the guy wanted money. I do believe that in a shop lottery pool, if there is any small amount left over, it goes in the pool for the next drawing

Some people are really greedy. I won $4 on a scratch off this week!
