I have a smartphone because I am on the go for my job. I go to different cities everyday. I need it to keep up with different things on the go.

I use a smartphone daily. For me it's a life saver, don't know what I would do with out it now that I'm used to using it.

Smartphones are just really wonderfully convenient. Of course, we can all get by without them, but why, when a simple alternative is there. It's just important to remember to have balance, and not get too wrapped up in gadgets versus real human interaction.

smart phones now are the price of a new laptop or computer, tablets and 2 in one are the way to go.

It's cheaper, convenient and available aside from the catch which is to keep up to date. There's no need to be that recent.
