Finally doesn't always mean finally
« on: July 08, 2016, 09:52:20 am »
I'm doing this extremely long survey on Your Word (which seems to have all extremely long surveys now), and after nearly an hour, the question comes up "Finally, which do you use most often..............." Naturally, I would assume that is the last question, but no, there's probably 20 more questions after that! Don't they know that finally means "the end?" This is why I get burned out, and don't do surveys for months at a time. Right now I'm in a survey frenzy, because I'm trying to earn enough for a camera on Amazon, but I dont' think I'm going to last very long at this rate.

I've been burned by that too. I think when they say "finally", they are referring to the last section in their survey which could take up several questions to complete instead of the question being the final one. I just think that the people that write the survey questions haven't actually taken a survey, for it seems like some surveys are written very poorly, either with mistakes (like you've noted) or where there list of answers don't reflect your opinion (like "Which is a major benefit?" and everything listed I wouldn't consider a benefit for me, yet there's no "N/A" or "None of the Above" type of answer).

I feel your pain.  15-20 minutes is about all I can stand on surveys.  I start going insane after that.

There's definitely a "downside" to doing surveys.  I feel if I avoid them I can also avoid feeling frustrated.  I prefer earning a smaller amount of money doing offers where I can actually see the "light" at the end of the tunnel.

Have a great day!

That's very frustrating... I have been there myself and that's why I stopped doing the surveys.

The one thing I hate is when I get through a long drawn out survey and right at the end it tells me, you didn't qualify for the survey. what kind of..... >:(

That happens a lot to me on Global Test Market surveys.  I do one for about 10 minutes, reach the end and pop another 20 minute survey comes up.  I tried closing out, but if you don't do both (and who knows there might be a 3rd) you don't get credit!!

Yeah that happens often when you are like 84% into the survey just to be told you do not qualify.

If you get paid for the survey then it is not a big deal.  The issue is when you spend an hour doing the survey and then get kicked out.

that's actally why I very raely do surveys.
I pickthe shortet possible survey. I would rather do 1 for 12 minutes for 35 cents then one for 30 mintues for a dollar. :rainbow: :rose: :peace:
