EMT
« on: July 20, 2016, 07:10:06 am »
The EMT team came to help one of my neighbors.
When they pulled up to the circle at the entrance overhang, they bumped it. [oops]
Fortunately, they scraped it and took off only a couple slices of wood.
They should have known that their vehicle was a bit higher than usual.
Even the EMT team can be in too much of a hurry and be careless.

Personally, if they are there to save my life .. I don't care if they scrape the overhang ... my life is more important

Their ability to drive safely is very important when driving an ambulance.

I would be a bit concerned.

Big deal, saving a life is more important than a piece of wood. We have had people in our area complain that they should not have to pull clear out of the way or come to a complete stop for emt's, ambulances and other emergency vehicles.  They are the same ones who do not evacuate when asked to do so, then others lose their homes because fire personnel had to stop everything else to help these people.  Pretty inconsiderate.

Save my life first please, & let the insurance from the emt/hospital take care of it later.

When you say "a couple slices", what exactly do you mean by that? Is that a lot? lol...hard to tell....
I get annoyed when people don't pull over for emergency vehicles...so inconsiderate...considering I spent some time on an ambulance this year....I know the feeling
