All Boys
« on: July 20, 2016, 05:42:38 pm »
Anyone else on here have all boys. I have four boys and no girls and met two other women today who had four boys too. I love my boys but I still can't believe I had four boys in a row like that. I would have liked at least one girl to balance things out I love them though.

I have two sisters, and therefore felt sure that when I had kids, they would all be girls. However not only did I have two sons, my twin sister also had two boys. At first I wasn't sure what to do with boys, they don't paint nails, they don't dress up, and they don't play with dolls houses. Now that my sons are 10 and 12, I can see how fortunate I am to have two sons. I watch all of their football matches, I watch all of their wrestling matches, I cheer them on louder than any other mom who attends the tournaments and now I wonder, what on earth would I do with girls?

I have two girls. Teenage girls at this time. I always heard from my friends and family boys are cheaper to raise. I don't know if this is true but with the amount of makeup & clothes to keep up with the trends I bet it is.

Lol...I don't have kids, only a brother....my mom says she preferred having sons because we're easier to raise (in general) and less expensive....though she did miss not being able to play with dolls, etc...

I "love all my children" just the same. Boy or girl as long as they are happy...that what really matters.

Just be happy, they stay healthy & they turn out right as adults, that's why there's such a thing called future daughter- in law,& future grand kids.

I have 2 of each, and the boys are way more expensive to feed in the teen years.  Also if they are into athletics and excel that gets really expensive.  I don't think the girls were more expensive, just spent money on different things.

I raised three girls and it was wonderful - however, I now have a little grandson. He and my daughter are living with me for awhile and it is so much different than when my girls were little. He gets into everything and climbs on anything!  But I am really going to miss them when they move out.  As for having four boys - a young friend of mine has four boys and is now pregnant - with a girl!
