That is why i keep craft supplies on hand and books. I love the rain and if the power goesoff oh well, sometimes it is a time to sit quitely and talk about things.

I wish it would rain in my area.  It is so dry and everything is dying.

Send some of the rain up here.  It's so hot and dry.  The grass is turning brown and things are dying from heat and lack of rain.

Why not go to pool even though it is raining? You will get wet either way. Today is a relaxing day just getting errands done and chores around the house. Almost going on vacation so I need to catch up on things before I live. So excited to go to the beach and be around sunny weather.

Sorry your plans to go to the pool got messed up by the weather.  I am supposed to go to my son's apartment complex for a cookout and I am crossing my fingers it doesn't start raining here as well. If it does I guess we will go for a pizza instead or something.  My son's girlfriend likes pizza hut and I don't so ............. oh well we will figure out something.

Times like these are when you guys communicate with one another without having to worry about someone having an electronic device in their hands and it's a good time to catch up on reading.

Sounds like a war zone here tonight.  The thunder and lighting is bad that even the dogs are hiding the basement.  Hope it clears soon or it is going to be a long night

It's amazing how much you can't do when the power goes out!  I just can't imagine what it was like to use candles and oil lamps for lighting.  I think it's good to experience no electricity every now and then just to make you appreciate it more.  At least during these super hot days, the thunderstorms usually pass over quickly.
