Texting is so convenient.  I'm so glad I lived long enough to use all this wonderful technology!  Some of my peers refuse to text, and they don't know what they are missing.  I do both, but I now stay more connected with my family because I can shoot them a quick text whenever I need to say something, and they can respond when it's convenient for them.

It just depends on what needs to be said. I text more than talk on the phone since it's typically quick notes/questions/responses (i.e.Getting ready to leave...Have a Great Day...What do you want for dinner...)

Talking on the phone, you get your answer fast.

Text Text Text Text!

I have never liked talking on the phone, even as an adolescent girl! I feel like I have to stop what I am doing for an extended period of time to talk on the phone, while texting is sort of start and stop. It just seems more convenient.

My daughter only wants to text, but I hate it. I text grandkids in another state, but would like to talk on the phone more than texting.

texting is very annoying if the texts are long, and you have to keep texting to clarify or give details, when a 5 minute chat on the phone would take care of the whole thing.

Text is great for short message. Long should be by phone.

I definitely text. The only time I talk on the phone is if I need to talk to my doctor or a utility company or something along those lines. I really don't like talking much in general, and I get bored with conversations easily. I order almost everything I can online, and I can't wait until I can order everything online!!

I was very resistant to texting. Now I have to say I text more than call. My husband cannot take calls at work so I can text him if something comes up.

I would probably have to say text because most of the time all I need is a quick answer to a question.  If it requires in depth conversation, then I will call
