Pennsylvania Senior Games
« on: July 31, 2016, 10:16:45 pm »
For the second year in a row I have participated in the Pennsylvania Senior Games which is part of the Keystone Games.  I won 5 Gold and 2 Silver medals.  I qualified for Nationals next year in Shuffleboard, which is in Birmingham, Alabama.  I would like to go but will have to see how the job situation is.  There was a low turnout for my age group 50-54 but I still had fun.  Unfortunately when people hear the word Senior their perceptions are incorrect.  Many States and County games are changing the names of their games to hopefully attract more participants.

Good for you! Sounds like you had a good time, are the games close to where you live?
