Actually most days I do. I also eat other fruit at other meals too. I end up eating two or three fruits a day and love it. Fortunately apples are not expensive for me in season, I just step out the back door and pick one. Just one glorious part of living in the Northwest.

I started eating five servings of vegetables/fruits per day about three weeks ago after discovering a phone application that pays you money for each serving of vegetables/fruit that you commit to eat in the upcoming week. I committed to eating twenty seven servings of vegetables next week and should make a few dollars for my efforts. The application also pays you for every day that you commit to work out (couple of bucks a week) and every day that you commit to keep track of your diet (few dollars per week). There is one drawback: if you fail to meet your commitment you are penalized five dollars for every commitment that you miss. If you miss your work out, five fruit/vegetables, and your meal diary it would cost you thirty five dollars. Working great for me!

in the saying, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, i'm not sure if they mean an actual apple, it could be a symbol of many things, maybe like a good deed keeps sin away or eating your medication every day helps fight your illness and thus keeps the doctor away

I do not have any apples in the house but I have eaten a banana the last few day.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)

I eat an apple at nights to curb my sweet tooth/hunger.

I don't like apples, some people might find that weird but, I just don't "get" how people can REALLY "like" apples.  I think I probably eat 3 a year (two because they are "healthy for you"...and one of those would be in the Fall with caramel on it).  I've tried all kinds of apples....they are all boring to me.

I don't care much for apples. I do love red grapes, watermelon and cantelopes. I love to make a fruit salad with grapes, oranges and cherries. Yummy
