I think I'll shut up right now before I even think to open my mouth bout' benefits in Illinois.  My ex not paying child support has been a blessing in disguise as far as medical insurance goes.  I'm luck as far as my future goes as well.  Employed with Kroger - we've got great insurance.  Even for part timers.

I think that everyone who works is subject to the same insurance mess since everyone was required to get it. It appears that we now shoulder the burden for those who can not afford coverage and are forced to take inadequate benefits for ourselves.I had fantastic insurance through my wife's company up until seven years ago. Reasonable premiums, minimal co-pays, and never a question as to whether my insurance would be accepted at any facility. I was prescribed a drug two months ago that would have helped with a serious ailment. The pharmacist checked and said that it wasn't covered and would cost four hundred and eighty dollars. They double checked, fiddled with the paper work, called me back and said that it would only be eighty dollars. I told the pharmacy that I would rather die than pay more than ten dollars for a prescription and passed. I am not blaming the current administration because the same plan, under a different name, was going to be put into play if the other president had been elected. Just not really fair to those who work.
