what does topic locked mean

I am new to this and still trying to understand everything. says that my topics are locked and I can't reply to my own topics.... please help?

That's what it means, that you or anyone else can't reply to the message. The FC staff does that and it can be any reason they see fit. Usually I see it on older posts that no one has looked at in a while. Or sometimes there's another topic that's the same of yours that's been posted before you did yours. I mean it could be a number of things.
