Ouch, I'm sorry! Were you prescribed any pain meds? I got by with taking 3 tylenol at a time because I was afraid of heavier drugs.

Call your dentist and let them know you're still in pain.  You may have a dry socket.

I agree that it might be time to call your dentist and tell him about your pain

I agree you should call your dentist. I have never had my wisdom teeth pulled, but I can imagine it is very painfull. I hope you get some relief soon.

You probably have any infection. You should call your dentist right away and have him/her prescribed you one of those narcotics for the pain. Plus maybe there is still a part of the tooth that is left in there!

I hope you did not develop an infection. Please call your dentist. Good luck and feel well soon.

Yes, definitely give your dentist a call. You could have dry socket which happens when the blood clot has been dislodged to early. If it is that then you'll have to go back in so the dentist can clean it.

Calling your Dentist sounds like a great idea.  There could be a number of things going on and it's best to get the pain under control before it gets any worse.

Ouch! Those really hurt. No wonder they call them "wisdom teeth".

I would call and or just go see him, he will tell you to come in anyway. Dry sockets are awful , I had all 4 o my wisdom teeth pulled in the hospital , and 2 were dry sockets.  It was a bad summer for me since that is when it was done. I did not have enough room in my mouth for them.  I stayed with my grandparents after they were pulled for a couple of weeks.  We lived 90 miles away. I was spoiled by them.

Extractions hurt too! Do you know you can ask your dentist for one or two stitches after the extraction to help the gum heal faster? It really works by avoiding pain and possible infections.

I see that your original post was almost three weeks ago.  I hope that the pain is gone by now. I have found that people have varying degrees of pain associated with wisdom teeth extraction. It seems the larger percentage of people do not have as much pain. I fell into the smaller percentage. Having my wisdom teeth taken out was the worst pain I have ever had-even kidney stones! I have broken my nose three times, had two broken ribs, a broken wrist, both ankles broken, three bones in my foot shattered, leg ripped open to the tune of 170 plus stitches and I still say, unequivocally, wisdom teeth extraction was by far the most painful. I had all four taken out at once. If I had had only two taken out I would not have gone back to have the other two taken out for several years. I was given a double dose of percoset and that did very little to alleviate the pain.
