I go to CVS I think my insurance also caters to CVS pharmacy. I recently switch CVS locations for one closer to my home but for the past three months my meds had been sent to the old CVS store! Such a pain in the butt but that's nothing compared to getting the wrong meds, now that's dangerous! I'd report that pharmacy asap! Your life is worth more than having to tolerate a couple of young incomplete morons working behind the pharmacy counter!

I go to Costco, they are just around the corner from where I live and they never have a line. It's a quick phone call, fill up and pick up. I'm in and out in 5 min.

Recently my father's health insurance has switched to to Shoprite to CVS on some prescription meds. I guess it's cheaper for the health insurance or something. Gives more prescription meds (3 months supply instead of 1 month supply) than shoprite, but of course it will be more expensive since three month supply. Wish that CVS offer home delivery but they don't

I’m considering switching to Walgreens.  I’m so tired of the new crew at the CVS I use.  I went to get my prescription filled and two days later I get a text they don’t have it, it will have to be ordered, and I’ll get notification when they do.  Three days later I hear nothing so I go into the CVS and ask what happened to my prescription.  The pharmacist tells me my prescription hasn’t been filled.  Directly behind him on a shelf is the medicine I need, so I snapped, ‘It’s right there on the shelf behind you!  Why can’t you just take that a put it in a bag?’  The pharmacist’s response was it will be ready in an hour.  An hour, seriously?  I feel sorry for people that don’t check up on their meds with CVS.  I mean they order stuff.  You would think they would check their machines to see if anyone is waiting for anything that came in, but they don’t.

We get one of my husband's prescriptions at CVS (scheduled narcotic - can't order through mail like the rest of his meds).  Fortunately it is the only one!  I hate going to CVS.  The service is terrible!
Have a wonderful day!

CVS doesn't take my insurance, so I have to go through another pharmacy. They lost the contract years ago and haven't bothered trying to get it back!
My mom gets her's from Sam's Club and we know everyone there! They also know us, by name!!

I just started using CVS for my meds, but let me tell you, Walgreens has done the same exact thing. They gave my grandmother the wrong medicine one time. The bottle was even labelled correctly, but the pills inside were wrong. The problem is, these name brand pharmacies are all upgrading to those electronic pill dispensers, and I think that's where the error is coming from. The pharmacist is still responsible for loading the correct medicine into the machine, but I think sometimes they forget and leave the last bottle there and it dispense that medicine instead of the correct one. I always check my meds before I take them anyhow. I used to work at a local mom-and-pop pharmacy, and we always double checked that not nly the medicine was correct but also that there was the correct amount of pills as well. If you are ever unsure of what you are getting, you can check out a website called pillidentifier.com and it will ask for the color, shaoe, and any markings on the pill you have and it will tell you exactly what it is, generic and all.

NOPE. My insurance company won't cover anything from CVS. Bummer, I used to go to Target pharmacy and they got bought out by CVS so I have to go to a different one now. Annoying.
