i know someone close to me who had died from texting and driving but young people still do it when it just for a couple of minutes o driving they could just pull over

They never should have invented texting at all on cell phones. It has to be the most dangerous thing you do while driving. :bad:

There is nothing so important that people need to text and drive.  It is so stupid when people do it and think it is fun until you lose someone close to you.  Even than some people do not stop.

I have to two nieces who were in accidents because of phone use.  Result:  two totaled cars, two hospital stays, and two tickets for "distracted driving."

This is like driving drunk. Nowadays people do it as if nothing is wrong. Very dangerous activity!

There are too many people losing their lives because others want to text or talk on the phone while driving.   There is nothing that cannot wait til you reach your destination to talk on the phone.  If it is an emergency, take the time and pull over and discuss the situation.  Emergency calls are the worse that cause accidents.  Please respect others on the road and in turn you will be respected.  I will not even talk or text while walking and especially if I am crossing the street.  My life is worth living and I do not want to be the cause of my death or someone else's death.
