How quick do you go through a gallon of milk?

Probably about 2 or 3 a week depending on what we cook and how much cereal we have.

There are only two of us in the house and one (my hubby) doesn't drink milk at all so I drink whatever milk we have all by myself. We buy a gallon at a time at Costco or BJ's and it lasts for a couple weeks or so before we have to buy again. I use quite a bit on cereal in the morning.

I normally drink milk everyday, especially chocolate milk. I buy 2%, I think it tastes better, whole milk is too thick for me. When I shop I want to buy more than a gallon but too afraid that it might expire as milk around here on the shelves tend to expire in a few days to a week. Unfortunately I started a medicine that doesn't allow me to have dairy so it will be a while before I get milk for myself. Only on day 4 and all I can think about is milk, chocolate milk, ice, cream, pudding, cheese and everything else I cannot have at the moment.

Many times a week, we used it for cereals, coffee and cooking food such as mashed potatoes and hamburger helper.

I only get hal-gallon or less. Otherwise it goes bad as I dont drink it as much. gives me the runs too.

It takes me about one and a half weeks to finish it, That's if its by myself.

My grand children live with me. A gallon of milk only lasts for about a half a day. I have to buy 2 to 3 gallons at a time.
