I have started seeing some Christmas things here and there too, though not much...wait until right after Halloween though - all the Thanksgiving/Christmas stuff will be out in no time! I haven't really been much in the Christmas mood yet because it's been so hot but that is slowly starting to change since it's cooled down a lot.

It happens every year, and yes I will get started.  No need to wait until the last minute.

Costco has holiday stuff out in JULY.  That rages me to no end.

I can understand the craft stores putting out things early for the people who make crafts for a living and need to do projects etc.  But other stores it is ridiculous.   Winter clothes came out in July  it is still 94 here down south.   I think it should be by region instead of national.

Ridiculous, they usually wait until after halloween nowadays. It's still September!

I know, the store where I live also have Christmas decorations up too.  Not even Halloween or Thanksgiving yet.

It is too early for me but stores need to make their money. I will start planning for the holidays probably early November.

I think it's in bad taste to put out xmas displays when October hadn't even started yet! Just all commercial now & forget about the meaning of the holiday!

The stores are trying to make as much $$$$$$ as possible by putting out xmas products early.

I saw Christmas items as well and it wasn't even Oct. yet!!!  I, for one, am tired of the stores pushing things so far in advance - it takes the entire "spirit" out of the Holiday.

I agree with everyone that it's way too early but I try to look  at it in a positive way.  Causes me to start thinking about Christmas and get busy with everything.  I have to stretch my shopping out over several months to make it easier on our budget so it helps remind me to get busy.   I wish it were the way it was when I was young, Christmas starts at the end of the Thanksgiving Macy's Day parade.    :)    :pumpkin:
