Jealousy
« on: September 25, 2016, 01:06:55 am »
I see that women get so jealous of other women because they have better things, in shape or they look like they have everything together.
Do you see yourself as being jealous of someone(s)?

I do not see myself getting jealous of other people, I think it is stupid. If a person believes in themselves, they have no reason to be jealous. There is always going to be someone who is prettier, or has more money. People need to be thankful for what they have.

Me i have this attitude either like me the way i am or  not. I  don't care i am just me.  I feel good about myself, and if i want to look a  mess at home, who is going to tell i can't. When i paint, outdoors which i am getting ready to do i will wear my oldest clothes. Because if i get paint on them so what. I am not a fashion plate. Just me.

I do not have a jealous bone in my body probably because I am very secure with myself and tend to trust people. I have been told that I am a good looking guy and my wife gets jealous when women pay attention to me. I really do not recognize advances or interest levels that might be wanting something more than a friendship. She knows that I would not cheat even if I had more than five minutes in a day to myself and that I adore her. She is lovely, has a great personality, very athletic and is very secure with herself so I am not sure why she gets jealous. To me jealousy can represent a lack of trust and if there is no trust there is a shallow platform from which to sustain a relationship. Probably a good thing that I do not get out very often.

Depend on what.  But to get jealous of someone if they better than me then that will be "never".  What ever is me is me not other so I don't care if other better then me.

No.  I'm not a jealous person.  I admire people and use that to motivate me to get to where they are.

No, I'm not a jealous person. I may not be the prettiest person, nor the slimmest, I don't have loads of money, but I am the nicest person you could ever hope to meet. I have been thoroughly in my life. Jealousy is not a pretty attribute.

No., I don't think I'm a jealous person. I can see something someone has achieved and wish for it for myself, but I wouldn't say I feel actual jealousy. I'm a pretty confident person and know that comparison is dangerous and jealousy is just a waste of time.  :peace:

No can't say I do, everyone has problems and good points, and you don't usually see all the problems so you don't know what you would be jealous of understand?  Jealousy goes with envy and if you knew everything about someone you probably wouldn't want to be them. 8)

I have never been an overly jealous person but can honestly say I was probably a bit more so when I was younger.  Now I accept what is and if it causes me too much problem, I remind myself of how lucky I am and how much worse it could be.  Then I walk away from the aggravation.
