Trump won on the issues, but he really didn't go for the knock out punch. It wasn't any easier with his having to debate not only Clinton, but Holt as well. Trump could've buried her on her scandals if he chose to, but I think he feared coming across too abrasive.

Nobody won last night because none of the questions were on the issues everyone wants to hear the solutions.

Lester Holt was ginned up on being a very honest and trustworthy journalist but he was an absolute FAILURE last night. He had NO control over the time limits. Trump interruptions were a no-no, yet he wasn't stopped.

Hillary did stay more cool and collected than Trump. Trump showed his inexperience in debating. He still thinks its only a campaign rally instead of a serious debate. He better bone up for the next one or he'll be done. He should start watching former debates to see how he should show dignity and respect. There was none last night.

I could only get through a half hour and I had to turn it off. It was a nothing more than a circus and the clowns were all 3 of them.

Hillary won, Trump was too unpresidential, was had horrible temperment and couldn't stay on message.

I watched it and I feel that Hillary won. Trump started out well but as the debate went on he was all over the place, often straying way off topic.

Nobody won hands down, it was fairly even it's not a sports game and the moderator was lame and didn't ask the tough questions, but they will be asked in the next debates for sure and Trump won't hold back and be a nice guy like some of you think he wasn't, pay attention, he was in total control of his temperment geez.  Go Trump yeah that's right go Trump

Honestly I don't think anyone has won. Both candidates clearly show they flip-flop on issues, hypocrites, and have things to hide. Most of their arguing points have been already made before (since primaries, tweets, or interviews).

Holt stayed away from the "tough questions" like the plague when it came to Hillary. With Trump on the other hand, he brought up every topic under the sun.

If Hillary was at all successful, it was in how she kept Trump on Defense (with Holt's help). Trump should've hammered her on her corruption.

I only watched part of the debate. According to the polls online, most voters claim Hillary won the debate.

It really doesn't matter who won. It really doesn't matter who you vote for. The election has already been won by Hillary. The American people do not get a voice in our "democracy"
