Super Couponing Haul!
« on: September 29, 2016, 09:43:44 am »
I made a big haul last night, from Walmart, using coupons and rebate apps! I think this is my biggest yet. I had $62 worth of products before coupons; after coupons it was reduced to $38.83. Then I got $19.50 plus $17 in bonuses back from Ibotta, and $1.00 from Checkout51. So my total for all that was only $1.33! (And now I'm petered out for a while, LOL!)

I've gotten lazy about using paper coupons. I still can get good savings at stores that offer digital coupons

Congrats to you!
I don't think I could survive without coupons. lol I do the Kroger Mega Event when they have it and use coupons. I rarely pay over $1 now for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. Never pay more than $2 for name brand laundry detergent, fabric softener, etc. I love my coupons!  ;)

Oh, my goodness!  That's amazing, and makes all the hard work seem worth it. With coupons and apps and cashback and all the other incentives we run across, saving money could be a full time job.  I hope it was all stuff you were going to buy anyway!

Great job! I once tried "extreme couponing" doing the same as you: coupons as well as money-back apps (SavingStar was the app that I used). I felt proud that I was able to get everything for ~75% off, but your ~98% off is YUGE!

Yes, it could be a full time job, LOL! What makes it easier for me is that I follow Krazy Coupon Lady, she does all the matchup work. They have a Facebook Ibotta team too, and people often make additional suggestions there.
No it wasn't all stuff that I would normally use, but I got some new products to try, and some things to donate, that were free after the rebate apps. I don't buy stuff I won't use just for the rebate, unless it's free. There were a lot of freebies in the mix that paid for the stuff that I needed that wasn't free.
